LETTER TO WOMEN

I have never been a big supporter of Women's Day, I have never organized evenings with friends to celebrate the day dedicated to the female universe, because I have always told myself that it should be celebrated all year round.

Mimosas not only on March 8th, but rather small thoughts to be made all year round to pay homage in an exclusive way, always remembering all the battles that were fought in the past for the freedom we enjoy today.

Do you still believe that just one day is enough to make us feel loved and considered?

So, my dear friend, love yourself for who you are, whether you are a housewife, wife, mother, daughter, nurse, caregiver, worker, employee, manager, beautiful or ugly, even if no one can be defined as ugly, do not let yourself be influenced by the winds of homologation, the race for profit, the stereotypes of fashion,

Do not try to imitate men to hear that you can compete with them. Simply love yourself, because you are unique! Whatever your role is, it is irreplaceable. It doesn't matter if you are famous or not. You can only find your success in the peace of your interiority.

If those close to you struggle to recognize your merits, to understand you, try to always smile, if necessary defend yourself! It doesn't matter if they see you as fragile, moody, weak.

Being a woman today also means obtaining prestigious positions and roles once specifically reserved for men. It's nice to walk down the street and see Maria, Roberta, Ginevra and many other pink workers driving taxis and trams.
Being a woman today also means having the right to decide your own destiny, to be autonomous without having to depend on the male universe, to allow yourself to have a child alone and generate a new concept of family.
Being a woman today means fully enjoying the freedom that every individual should have, regardless of their gender.
Best wishes to everyone for Women's Day!
