Letter to Dad

Dear Dad,
I am writing to you today because you know that when I have to say something important, it is easier for me to write it.
Today, Dad, I wanted to start like this, with a very simple and very small word: THANK YOU..
Thank you because I know that you were young and full of dreams when I presented myself to the world, because to make me who I am today, to make mine come true, very often, you closed yours in drawers, but I swear to you Dad that if I could I would take them all out, to give them shape, to make them live: I would make them all come true for you.
Dad is almost the name of a superhero and you, absolutely, are mine!
You are my superhero of laughter, I can assure you that you have the most beautiful power of all: you make me happy with your smiles and you don't know how important it is to me.
I wanted to tell you that I am with you and that you should never be afraid of anything, because if you ever need something, I will be beside you.
The love a daughter can feel for a father is infinite and the love I feel for you is even more so.
Stay the fantastic man you are, the one who takes care of me, of our family and never let the world erase your smile: if you need a stick I will be there by your side to support you and if you need a reason to smile I will be there to give you infinite ones.
Dear dad,
best wishes for this holiday of yours, with all my heart.
your little but already great woman by now.
